I am currently not teaching any physical classes as I am in a state of transition and study. However I will be releasing a number of classes online for you to follow along with. Before I return to Sampoorna Yoga, India where I am honoured to be returning as a lead vinyasa teacher to guide two sets of 200 hour TTC's taking students and helping to transform them in to teachers. 

 

 Class sizes are kept small to ensure hands on adjustment and care and attention is given to each and every one of you. 

 

I am also available to come to your own home or work place to work on a one to one basis or for groups. 

 

Revitalise and align – Yoga based around core principles and foundational postures. Slowing down a typical flow to understand the muscular activity, deepening your understanding of your own body and the way in which it moves, opening up stiff joints, lengthening tight muscles, strengthening weak areas and building a stronger mental and physical awareness.  

 

 

Ashtanga power flow – Based around the original Ashtanga primary series I take it apart each class focusing on key areas; arms, legs, back, core, hips and inversions. A strong flow combining breath control with movement ensuring your mind has only one focus point for the class leaving all other thoughts and worries behind. Pushing yourself just outside of your comfort zone in a playful yet calm environment.  

 

 

Yin and restorative – Working deeper, traditionally holding each posture for between 3-5 minutes noticing not just the muscle but the sense of release physically and mentally. Working to permanently change the fascia supporting joints, ligaments and muscles

7:30-8:45 pm - ASHTANGA FLOW (Yoga Manchester Class)

Bradshaw Hall Primary School, Vernon Close, Cheadle Hulme, SK8 6AN

This class is a drop in session – no need to book just turn up and join in , mats provided.

​

Yoga Foundations has been created to build a strong and stable base to safely explore one’s possibilities. Students will be guided through a warming up, sun salutations, standing, seated, and backbending postures to harness stability, and true strength and flexibility.

Wednesday

​

7:15 - 8:30 pm - Introduction to ASHTANGA POWER FLOW for men 6 week course - Ashtanga Vinyasa  (began 20/3/17)

The Yard Studio, 1st floor, 3 London Road, Alderley Edge

​

This class will be running for a six week period and will work on targeting specific areas each week. From foundational postures, to upper body, legs, core and backbends, core and inversions, and focus on hips. 

Ensuring alignment and integrity in each posture to build a strong, stable and supple body whilst working with the synchronicity of breath based movement to bring a sense of calm and inner strength too.
